# Venture SMP

### **Server Closure Notice**

Venture SMP officially closed on August 23rd, 2026, after 7 years of operation.

The decision wasn't made lightly. Between a worsening environment on the server and long-term burnout from running it, continuing wasn't sustainable anymore.

**What this means:**

* <i class="fa-power-off" style="color:$tint;">:power-off:</i> The SMP is no longer active as of August 23rd, 2026
* <i class="fa-discord" style="color:$tint;">:discord:</i> The [Discord will stay up](https://discord.gg/exK6F5CqD2) for anyone who wants to keep in touch or see future projects
* <i class="fa-map" style="color:$tint;">:map:</i> Season 4's world may be uploaded for download in the coming weeks
