Loadstones function as chunk loaders, keeping a chunk active even when you're away.
Loadstones are useful for keeping farms running without needing to be nearby, and they ensure that redstone machines and other mechanics stay active.
How to Create a Loadstone:
Drop a Nether Star onto a Lodestone to transform it into a Loadstone.
The chunk containing the Loadstone will remain loaded until it is broken.
